The next step is to submit the biography you want to use to promote your work. The eventual goal is for you to have three levels of biographies, each one designed for different purposes. The first two are for use with your Op-Eds. One Is the standard 100 word length and the other is the next step up at 75 words. These are the lengths that are used by newspaper with a national (Tier 1) presence and for the regional (Tier 2) presences that also work for local and similar outlets. The third one is a fuller text to let editors get to know you as a professional and as a person.
